About Me…

Sewing has been part of my life from an early age. Growing up with a seamstress mother, I developed a deep respect for precision, fit, and the thoughtful construction of garments.

I hold a Diploma in Fashion Design and Merchandising (Honors, 1998) and a Certificate with Honors in 3D Apparel and Integration from The Cut Fashion Academy, with a focus on advanced apparel patternmaking, pattern grading, and garment development.

At Giselle Clothing Design, I combine hands-on experience with formal training to support both independent designers and individual clients. The studio offers professional apparel patternmaking, pattern grading, and small-scale garment development for independent designers and small fashion brands. I also create bespoke garments for individual clients, transforming concepts into carefully crafted, well-fitted designs.

Working across both physical and digital workflows, including CLO3D patternmaking software, I approach each project with careful attention to structure, fit, and long-term wearability.

Based in Nanaimo, British Columbia, the studio serves clients locally on Vancouver Island as well as remotely across Canada and worldwide.
