About Me…

Sewing has been part of my life from an early age. My first “model” was a Barbie doll. I loved creating tiny outfits from scraps of my mom’s fabric. My mother, a professional seamstress, taught 4-H sewing classes, and by high school I had already shifted my focus toward fashion.

After earning a Diploma in Fashion Design & Merchandising (Honors) and completing a 3D apparel certification, I combined formal training with years of hands-on experience.

Today, through Giselle Clothing Design, I specialize in apparel patternmaking and custom garments, bringing together creativity and technical precision. I translate client designs into accurate, production-ready patterns, with a focus on fit, construction, and long-lasting wearability.

I work with independent designers, small brands, and individual clients, offering pattern development, fit refinement, and select made-to-measure pieces. Whether working from a designer’s concept or creating a one-of-a-kind garment, the goal is the same - pieces that fit well and function as intended.

Based in Nanaimo, BC, I work with clients locally and remotely.
