The project demonstrates both creative garment design and technical pattern development, transforming a physical draped garment into an accurate digital pattern while preserving its original silhouette, balance, and movement. The garment features a flowing asymmetrical overskirt layered over a lightweight chiffon underskirt, finished with a shaped waistband and clean construction details. The pattern was recreated digitally, refined through 3D simulation, and prepared for future sampling or production. The original garment was carefully measured, analyzed, and recreated to accurately replicate its fit, proportions, construction, and overall design. The development process included documenting garment measurements and construction details, drafting the digital pattern, validating the fit through 3D simulation in CLO3D, and refining key features such as the fly front, waistband, pockets, and welt pocket placement. The completed pattern was prepared for PDF output and future sample or production use.
